Ordering

Is there a minimum order?
There is no minimum order but every order does include a $3.95 handling fee plus shipping. Please keep this in mind when placing a small order.

Do I need to provide a tax ID?
At this time only Nebraska residents must provide a tax ID to receive wholesale discounts. Those who do not will be charged retail price and sales tax.

I can't find the item I'm looking for on your website.
At this time not all products are listed. You can manually add the item to your cart by using our online order form. Please note that we cannot guarantee price or availability on manually inputed items.

What if you don't have everything on my order?
Unavailable items are usually backordered and will be marked on your invoice as such. When they become available you'll be contacted. You are not charged for any items ordered that are not shipped.

Shipping

How much is shipping?
Shipping cost depends on a number of variables including address zoning, fuel surcharge and package weight. For that reason we are unable to provide an exact shipping total until the order is processed. For small orders please keep in mind that shipping and handling starts at around $10.00 to $13.00 (rural areas may be more). 3 Day Select shipping starts at $15.00 to $20.00 and Next Day Air at $40.00 to $60.00.

Also note that shipping on a larger order is more cost effecient than a smaller one:

Do you offer free shipping?
No, but free pick-up is available in-store and at any of the ceramic shows we attend.

When will my order ship?
We ship Tuesday through Friday with most orders being processed within 2 shipping days. During cold weather months orders made late in the week with freezable items in them (such as paint) may be delayed until the following week to protect against damage.

How long will it take my package to arrive?
Transit time depends on your location and shipping method. UPS estimates the following shipping times for standard ground:

Can you ship to a P.O. Box?
Unfortunately we're unable to ship to P.O. boxes.

My package hasn't arrived.
Please allow up to 7 business days for the arrival of your order. If it hasn't arrived by then please contact us at 1-800-284-7299 for your order status.

Can you ship Parcel Post (USPS)?
No. Parcel Post does not offer required order insurance and tracking.

Can you ship Priority Mail (USPS)?
No. Priority Mail is not offered within the continental United States because of large order processing time. UPS Ground is usually equivilant cost to Priority Mail when factoring in insurance and handling fees.

Do you ship COD?
We take CODs but can only accept a cashier's check or money order as payment. UPS also charges a $9.00 fee in addition to shipping on all COD packages.

Can I pick up my order?
Yes. Pickup is available during regular store hours (Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5:30 PM). Make sure to specify a pick up date in the comments field when ordering online. Please also allow 48 hours for processing.

Items are missing/damaged from my order.
On very rare occassions a package may receive damage in transit or have missing product. Please contact us at 1-800-284-7299 to have the issue addressed promptly. Make sure to have a copy of your invoice along with the order number and date (located along the top of your invoice). Please also retain any packaging that may have been damaged as UPS may require an inspection.

Payment
Do you take credit/debit cards?
We accept Visa, Discover and Mastercard.

Do you take American Express?
We no longer accept American Express.

Do you accept checks?
Yes. Orders may be prepaid by check. An employee will contact you with an order total and your package will be shipped when we receive payment.

Do you accept purchase orders from public institutions?
Yes. Institution letterhead including the PO number must be included with the order. For more information contact us at 1-800-284-7299.

Invoice
I've received my order but I don't see my invoice.
On orders originating from Glaser Ceramics your invoice will be enclosed in a clear shipping pouch on the outside of the box. Small orders may occasionally have the invoice enclosed inside the box. On drop shipments your invoice will be sent by mail.

Not all the prices on my invoice match the catalog.
All prices in the catalog represent the most accurate available at time of printing but are subject to change without notice. We always attempt to keep our prices as low as possible but from time to time must raise them on select products. For the most current price for an item please consult the website or contact us for a quote.

Products and Pricing
What discounts do you offer?
Most products have quantity discounting. The more you buy the better your unit price will be.

Can I get a better discount?
We may be able to provide additional discounts on large bulk orders. Please call us and we'd be happy to discuss your options.

What paint brands do you carry?
Duncan, Mayco, Doc Holliday, Dona's Hues, Fashenhues, and Kimple.

Do you carry Gare products?
No. For a list of their distributors please visit Gare.com.

Are Hanovia products available?
At this time we are unable to restock Hanovia products. Hanovia N Gold is sold out and remaining Hanovia items are limited to in-stock product. We recommend Duncan overglazes, Reusche (previous makers of Hanovia) and Loretta Young lusters as substitutions where applicable.

Do you carry decals?
Yes, we're a distributor for Olympic, Virma, Instar, and TBR. We also keep a large, diverse collection of decals which are available for purchase in-store or at ceramic shows.

Are you open to the public?
Yes. Store hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5:30 PM (central). For directions please see our contact page.

Can I get a catalog?
Our 2009-2010 catalog is currently available for $4.00 plus $3.50 shipping and handling or free with an order of $20.00 or more.

Where can I get MSDS/Material Safety Data Sheets?
They can be downloaded online at the Mayco MSDS and Duncan MSDS pages.
